Sekondo: AI inside Adobe, with separate subscriptions

What is Sekondo?
Sekondo is a panel and a local bridge for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Lightroom Classic. You describe work to an AI assistant, which can act inside the supported app. The vendor describes editable layers, text and styles rather than only exporting a flattened picture.
It is a separate product from Adobe and from your AI subscription. A local bridge is software running on your own computer that connects the assistant to the app. MCP is the connection format used by compatible assistants. These technical labels do not mean that every action is accurate or that the whole workflow is offline.
Current prices and the free trial
The current official monthly prices are €15 for one selected app, €29 for three apps and €47 for all six. Studio costs €39 per seat per month with five or more seats. These prices exclude VAT; the page says applicable tax is added at checkout. Annual billing charges for ten months and provides twelve months of access. Confirm the final currency conversion and card charges with your payment provider in India.
The founder reservation period has ended. Older €12, €19 and €29 founder prices are not the standard offer for a new customer. Existing qualifying founder subscribers keep their price while their subscription remains active.
The seven-day trial requires a card. Nothing is charged at the start, but billing begins on day eight unless you cancel before then. The pricing page offers a refund request within 15 days after the first payment. Check the order's terms before subscribing. Students and teachers can request a 50% education discount using a school or university email; do not assume the discount is active before receiving a code.
Adobe and AI access are separate costs. Sekondo does not resell Claude or ChatGPT. A trial of this plugin is not a free subscription to the other products.
How to start without damaging a project
- Read the current pricing, terms and app support information. Choose only the apps you need.
- After starting the official trial, use the key and installer sent by Sekondo. The vendor provides Mac and Windows installers.
- Open a copy of a non-sensitive document and the Sekondo panel. Check that the connection indicator is green.
- Name the exact document in your instruction. If several files are open, an unnamed request can affect the wrong one.
- Ask for an inspection before edits, such as finding overflowing text or unnamed layers. Review the findings.
- Try one small change with clear limits. Compare the result and test undo before handing it a long job.
- Save versions and inspect the final export yourself. For a trial you do not want to keep, cancel before billing starts.
AI clients, undo and privacy
The docs say the tested routes are Claude Code and ChatGPT through Codex in its desktop app, not browser ChatGPT. Other compatible MCP clients may work, but compatibility is not the same as the vendor having tested them.
Sekondo says each command normally enters the app's undo history as one operation. Illustrator is an exception: its history cannot be grouped in the same way, so undo can require several steps. Keep a backup rather than making undo your only recovery plan.
The vendor says its bridge talks to Adobe locally and does not upload your documents to Sekondo. That does not establish what the connected cloud AI receives. Check your AI client's permissions and provider rules before using unpublished research, client artwork or personal records.
For Indian and Kerala creators
This may help with repetitive brochure, photo or video work if you already use supported Adobe software. It is not a replacement for checking Malayalam text, fonts, print sizes or client approval. Begin with sample material and keep the original untouched. Budget the plugin, Adobe, AI and taxes together.
