What it is

Poe is an app and website from Quora where you chat with many different AI bots in one place. Its help page explains that each bot uses "points" for a reply, and that one pool of points works with every bot. The Poe site says you can chat privately or in a group chat.

Is it free

Yes, for most use. Poe's About page says "Poe is free for most usage" and that subscriptions for advanced use start at about ₹480 a month, converted from $4.99 at roughly ₹96.55 per US dollar on 9 October 2026. Indian checkout prices and taxes were not checked. Poe's help page says free users get points every day, that the points reset at the end of each 24 hours and do not roll over. Each bot shows rate details and an approximate first-message cost before you send a message, so a big request can use up your free points faster.

How to try it

  1. Go to poe.com or install the Poe app, and sign up free.
  2. Pick a bot. Check its Rates details and approximate message cost. Set a per-message points budget in Settings to help control usage.
  3. Chat. When your daily points run out, wait for the reset or choose a cheaper bot.
