What it is
Planfit is a workout app for iPhone and Android. Planfit says its AI builds a plan from your fitness level, goals, schedule and the equipment you have, including bodyweight-only plans for home. It says the plan adjusts as you log workouts, and the app has exercise guides and videos.
Is it free
Yes. Planfit's page says the personalized plan is "completely free", with no credit card or payment needed to start. Planfit also says on its App Store listing that core features such as workout plans, guides and logging "will always remain free". The app does sell a subscription as an in-app purchase. The India App Store description lists premium real-time AI coaching, muscle recovery and exercise performance analysis, and Apple Watch integration, with a 7-day trial. Several in-app purchase entries show ₹199 monthly and ₹1,199 annually; another annual promotion shows ₹9,900. These are listed offers, not a verified checkout quote. Check the exact plan, trial eligibility, renewal date and final price in the app.
Is it available in India
Planfit has a live India App Store listing (Free, with in-app purchases) and a Google Play listing. We did not test it.
How to try it
- Install Planfit from the App Store or Google Play.
- Answer the questions on your fitness level, goals, schedule and equipment.
- Start the first workout and log your sets.
Limits to know
- Core features are free. A paid subscription exists, so read the screen carefully before you tap subscribe.
- If you do subscribe, manage and cancel it through the store that billed you, not by uninstalling the app. The iOS listing says to cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription period ends and says payment starts after the trial. Check your renewal date and cancellation confirmation. Google Play also says uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.
