What it is

myNoise is a website of adjustable soundscapes for focus, relaxation and sleep. Its home page says it gives you "adjustable soundscapes that adapt to your space and your needs", including nature sounds, ambient music and noise textures. It says the website is ad-free and respects user privacy. It is run by one person, sound engineer Stéphane Pigeon, per the site. Its FAQ says the audio does not use AI: nature sounds are recorded in the field and musical soundscapes are played by real musicians. We included it as a free way to mask noise or wind down.

Is it free?

Mostly yes, per the site. The home page says there is an "extensive library available for free" and that the site "operates entirely on donations". It also asks for support: a recurring $5 a month (about Rs 484) or a one-time donation from $10 to $30 (about Rs 968 to Rs 2,905), which gives lifetime all-access membership. The page also says patrons can access their favorite soundscapes from a Favorites section. The site does not list in what other ways free access differs from patron access, so we cannot say exactly what a free user misses.
