Read this before submittingThe contest page is titled "Video Contest on Use of MedLEaPR to speed up the investigation", but the description on the same page invites videos introducing new offences under the new criminal laws for public awareness. MedLEaPR is BPR&D's medico-legal examination and post-mortem reporting system; the page itself does not explain how it connects to the video brief. Read the full Terms and Conditions on the contest page and confirm the current brief before you start filming. This guide does not establish an age limit, team entries or how many entries one person may submit, because the terms do not say.

What is the contest?

BPR&D, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is hosting the contest on MyGov. The page invites citizens, especially the youth, to make videos that spread awareness of the new criminal laws: the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. The stated focus is introducing new offences under these laws.

Participation is through the MyGov portal. The Terms and Conditions confirm the contest is open to Indian citizens and there is no entry fee.
