Apply for a learner licence online in Kerala: Sarathi Parivahan guide
The Sarathi Parivahan portal (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in) is where Kerala's Transport Department offers licence services online. On 31 October 2026 we selected Kerala on the portal and read the Learner Licence services as listed. We did not log in, apply or pay.
How to start
- Open sarathi.parivahan.gov.in and choose Kerala from the state list.
- Pick Apply for Learner Licence from the service tiles, or the Learner Licence menu at the top.
- Follow the portal's steps. Use Print Application Forms, Check Payment Status and Complete your Pending Application if you need to continue later.

What the portal lists
- Faceless services: a notice on the portal says citizens do not need to visit the RTO for these, including issue of learner's licence, duplicate DL, DL renewal, change of address in DL, DL extract and international driving permit.
- Other tiles: Apply for Driving Licence, Appointments, Fee Payments, Mobile Number Update, Upload Document, Tutorial for LL Test, Online LLTest (STALL) and Find Doctor.
- Help: the footer links to FAQs, User Manual, Acts and Rules, and Feedback / Complaints.
We did not test the application form, the fee, the documents required or the online learner test, so check each on the portal before you start. Pay only on sarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
