Kerala fair value of land: how to look it up online on the Registration Department site
The Kerala Registration Department runs a public page where you can look up the fair value of a plot of land. On 31 October 2026 we opened the search form and read its notices. We did not run any search.
How to look it up
- Open igr.kerala.gov.in.
- On the form, choose District, RDO, Taluk and Village. These are required.
- Optionally add Desam, Land Type, Block Number, Survey Number, Survey Sub Division Number, Resurvey Number and Re-Survey Sub Division Number.
- Press View Fairvalue.

Read the site's own limits
- The home page says the fair values shown include the enhanced fair value under Gazette notification SRO No. 420/2023 dated 25/03/2023, and the notifications published up to that date.
- The form carries a disclaimer: the Department does not accept responsibility for incorrect data on the site, and users should check the original notification issued by the RDOs or Collectors in the official Gazette.
So treat the result as a starting figure, and confirm it against the Gazette notification or at the local registration office before you rely on it for a sale, purchase or registration. We cannot say whether any later notification changes a particular value.
The form lists land types such as residential plot with road access, garden land, wet land, dry land and commercial plot. Pick the one that matches your land.
