Kerala farmer awards 2026-27: 22 October deadline passed, no extension verified
Scoped recheck 24 October 2026: department notice, PRD release and current announcement pages re-read. Published 22 October deadline has passed; no official extension or reopened entry verified in targeted searches. Original award-year discrepancy retained. Historical website/PDF screenshots containing the government emblem removed from display; original route retained as archive. No application submitted.
The published deadline for these Kerala Animal Husbandry Department farmer awards was 22 October 2026 and has passed. On 24 October, the notice and PRD release still showed that date; targeted official-site searches did not verify an extension or reopened entry. Treat the notice below as an archive, not an invitation to apply now. The advertised state awards were up to ₹1,00,000, with a certificate and a plaque.

- Anyone who won a state farmer award in the last 3 years cannot apply again in the same category
- False information makes the application invalid
Original application route (deadline passed)
Checked against the department site and the official notice on 19 October 2026. There is no online portal for this award - it is a paper form route.
- Get the form. Download the notice and application form from the Animal Husbandry Department website: open ahd.kerala.gov.in and find the announcement "കർഷക അവാർഡ് 2026-27 വിജ്ഞാപനം, അപേക്ഷ ഫോം" (dated 8 October 2026), which links the notice plus form PDF. Or collect the form free from your nearest government veterinary hospital.
- Read the notice (ref AHD/5962/2026-E3, dated 7 October 2026) and pick ONE category you qualify for: 6 state-level categories (best dairy farmer, best commercial dairy farm/Ksheerasree, best mixed farmer, best poultry farmer, best young farmer, best woman farmer or entrepreneur) or the district-level dairy or mixed farmer awards.
- Fill the application form: your farm details plus the annexure for that category. Keep your production, sales and vaccination registers ready - the details you give are verified in a field visit and document check.
- Attach the supporting papers for your category: farm licence or registration where it applies (dairy, poultry), age proof for the young farmer category (under 35), and one-year ownership proof of the highest-yielding cow for the dairy category.
- The original instruction was to submit the filled form at your local government veterinary hospital by 22 October 2026. Do not assume late applications are accepted; obtain an official extension or confirmation from the hospital before preparing a new submission.
Video guides
We searched YouTube on 19 October 2026 for a step-by-step apply video for this award in Malayalam and in English. We could not verify one that covers this 2026-27 award notice, so we are not linking any rather than risk a video about a different scheme or an older year.
We read the Kerala PRD press release and the department notice with its application form (PDF) on 15 October 2026. Parts of the form's Malayalam text were hard to read in extraction, so we only used items that were clear. We did not submit an application.
