Is it free
Yes. Envision's support page says the iOS and Android app has been completely free since version 3.0, released on 25 July 2022. It also says you can choose to give a voluntary donation.
What it can do

- Answer questions about text or an image through Ask Envision.
How to try it
- Install Envision from your phone's app store.
- Open Scan Text or Describe Scene.
- Point the camera, then use Ask Envision to ask a follow-up question.
Limits to know
- AI descriptions can be wrong. Do not rely on them for medicines, safety signs or anything risky.
- The Google Play listing resolves with India selected. We did not install the app or test Indian-language recognition. Check your device compatibility and try a non-sensitive sample first.
- We did not test the app ourselves.
