Cyber Hygiene quiz (NCSAM 2026): official terms, prizes and entry-status caveat
The official MyGov page describes an Online Quiz on Cyber Hygiene Practices under ISEA with CERT-In, MeitY and MyGov for NCSAM 2026. Its displayed terms list 15 questions in 300 seconds, ten cash prizes from ₹10,000 to ₹3,000, and an e-certificate for participants. Indian citizens are eligible subject to the organiser-employee and immediate-family exclusions; eligibility does not confirm that entries are currently open. The displayed end date is 31 October 2026, 11:45 PM. Availability rechecked 24 October 2026: the browser showed login controls and that end date, while the fetched page said Closed. Actual entry availability is unverified. We did not log in or play. Read the current official page before attempting entry.

Video guides
We searched YouTube on 19 October 2026 for a step-by-step entry video for this quiz in English and in Malayalam. We could not verify one that covers this quiz and the current MyGov portal, so we are not linking any rather than risk an unrelated or answer-key video.
What does the quiz cover?
The official page lists strong passwords and passphrases, multi-factor authentication (MFA), phishing awareness, software updates, device security, data protection, backups and incident reporting. More information is on staysafeonline.in, per the page. Questions can go to isea@cdac.in.

- Open quiz.mygov.in and find the quiz yourself.
- Read the full Terms and Conditions on the page.
- Revise the basics above: unique passwords, MFA, spotting phishing and where to report incidents.
- First confirm that entry is available in your own account. The displayed official end date is 31 October 2026, 11:45 PM; if entry is available, allow 5 uninterrupted minutes before the stated deadline.
We did not log in or play. We read the prizes and all the rules on the quiz page.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an entry fee?
The page does not mention one.
Does a better score get a bigger prize?
Not necessarily. Winners come from a random draw among entries with all correct answers. The page does not explain how tiers are assigned.

Scoped recheck 24 October 2026: official terms now agree on 15 questions in English and Hindi; prizes, random-draw rule and stated deadline unchanged. Browser login controls and fetched Closed label remain inconsistent, so actual participation availability is unverified. No login or quiz play. National-emblem header and historical screenshot displays removed; text history retained.
