Coderblock: build a web app, check credits and billing

By AiCoN | Published 7 October 2026 | Sources checked 7 October 2026

Coderblock turns a written request into a web application. Its free Community plan now lists 5 lifetime credits. A working preview still needs security, data and cost checks before you publish it.

What does Coderblock do?

The product describes AI generation of full-stack web apps from chat. You can ask for pages, components and changes rather than writing every line yourself. It offers a managed backend with database and authentication features, plus hosting and preview environments.

That can help make a prototype, but generated code is not automatically safe, accurate or ready for real customers. Test sign-in, data access, mobile layouts, error states and any outgoing emails. Keep payments and personal information out of an early experiment.

Current free allowance

The live official pricing page now gives Community two AI-assisted projects, 5 lifetime AI credits, 10 MB file uploads, a 500 MB database and 50 hours of database activity per month. It also lists 50 managed transactional emails per day and public repositories. Agent Team is not included.

Five lifetime credits are a one-time allowance, not a fresh monthly budget. Credits are not necessarily one message each; the model and operation affect use. Public repositories make free-plan suitability an important privacy question. Do not put secrets or client code into a project before understanding visibility and storage.

Monthly versus annual Pro

Switching the live pricing page to Monthly shows Pro at US$25 per month, approximately ₹2,411 at ₹96.43 per dollar. The browser-rendered Annual view checked on 23 October showed a rounded US$21 monthly equivalent billed as US$250 yearly. A separately fetched version still showed the older US$20/US$240 offer, so verify the final checkout rather than relying on either headline as a guaranteed current quote. Those are different billing choices, not two contradictory monthly offers.

Pro lists 100 monthly AI credits, unlimited projects, private repositories, a 2 GB database and 100 hours of monthly database activity. It also lists 500 managed transactional emails per day. The current pricing list includes Agent Team on Pro, while Community excludes it. This is a listing, not a hands-on feature test.

The page says displayed prices include VAT for its described EU billing. Confirm your actual India checkout, currency conversion, tax treatment, renewal and cancellation before paying. The INR figures are approximate comparisons, not an invoice.

Backend use can consume credits too

The terms say included database space is counted across projects. Extra managed-backend space and activity are charged in credits: currently 0.25 credits per additional GB per day and 0.18 credits per additional activity hour. Activity is measured in five-minute intervals. The current terms say that when included activity hours and credits are exhausted, the provider notifies you. If at least three days after that notice you have not added credits or changed plan, it may take the active projects' previews and published sites offline. It says data is not deleted and service can return when credits or included activity are available. Do not treat temporary continued operation as unlimited free use.

Read the limits for the project you intend to host and keep track of usage. A small free code-generation allowance does not settle the long-term cost of running a popular app.

How to try it with less risk

  1. Read the pricing page and select the correct monthly or annual view.
  2. Start with a small prototype using sample data and clear requirements.
  3. Check repository visibility before adding files. Keep API keys out of frontend code and public source.
  4. Review generated pages on a phone and desktop. Test failure cases as well as the happy path.
  5. Check database rules and sign-in permissions before inviting other users.
  6. Watch AI credits, database size, activity hours and email limits.
  7. Export and back up your own project code. Test any migration before relying on external hosting.

Data, ownership and responsibilities

The current terms say your projects, code and uploads remain yours and that code, prompts, files and AI output are not used for AI model training. Third-party model providers are described as processing under no-training terms. Those statements do not mean content is never processed outside your machine.

The terms permit exporting your own code but make external migration your responsibility and do not guarantee compatibility. They also put responsibility for your app's users, privacy notices and security on you. Managed emails are for transactional messages, not bulk marketing.

For Indian students and businesses

A student can try a simple public prototype before spending. A business should budget for hosting limits and expert code review, particularly if the app stores customer details. Check Malayalam fonts, forms, phone-number handling and local dates; an attractive screenshot does not prove the backend is correct.

What changed since the original post?

The archive has carried older free-credit figures of 10 and 20. The current pricing page gives 5 lifetime Community credits, while US$25 remains the monthly Pro price. Agent Team is now listed on Pro. This guide separates monthly and annual billing and adds the current notice-and-suspension condition for exhausted backend credits.
